  1. First, log in
  2. In the MY ACCOUNT menu go to “Dashboard”
  3. Select “Business Page(s)”
  4. Select the Business listing you want to edit and click “edit.”

Or simply search for your listing through the site search bar. Once on your listing page, select the “edit” button on the bottom right corner of your page.

GOOGLE LOVES CONTENT!!! Content and reviews are the most important ranking factors starting in 2018. Add as much content (text and images) in your ABOUT description area as possible. (Google wants to see at least a 300 “word” (not character) description about you and your business! If you have a 2000 word (not character) description of your business, you will start to rank higher in Google search results than someone with 300 words. Take some time filling this out, it’s important. (Studies show articles of around 1800 to 2000 words rank on Google’s first page.) CONTENT! CONTENT! CONTENT!

  1. GET LOTS of reviews. (For optimum Google results, reviews need to mention your name and business name at least twice and need to be worded as a recommendation)

  3. Add links to your website and social media in the description area (About) of your listing!
  4. Add all social media.
  5. Add your listing link(s) to all your social media accounts and your website.

1. Lack of content

Google consistently ranks articles that average anywhere between 1800 to 2000 words on the first page.

2. Lack of reviews

You don’t have to get 100 reviews your first week or your first month. Gradually get high-quality reviews over time.

3. Duplicate (Exact) content on multiple listings

Google calls this act “Scraping” and ultimately penalizes you for it. Make sure 70% of your ABOUT section is original content for each listing. 

4. Clicking on your Business listing from Google and immediately clicking out of it

Google ranks articles based on USER behavior. If any user, including you, accesses your page from Google and stays on the page for only a few seconds, Google rates that page’s content as irrelevant to the user. If it happens too many times, Google will drop your ranking. Any time you access your Business Listing from Google, stay on the page awhile,…a long while. (At least 2 to 3 minutes)

5. Unnatural readability

Long ago Google use to rank articles based on KEYWORDS and many website owners use to KEYWORD stuff the articles to rank high in Google. Articles were KEYWORD stuffed so badly they were barely readable. Times have changed, and now Google wants the content to read more natural and will reward you for using synonyms or closely related words in your articles. GOOD NEWS, Google associates and matches all the similar terms automatically so you can write naturally. Example: Words such as Hair, Scalp, Highlights, Color, Blowdry, hairline, wash, shampoo would all relate to the term Hairdresser. So just write your about sections naturally.

There are 3 areas to upload images. 1. In the image gallery. 2. In the “About” section of your page. 3. The Business Cover Image (Directory image)

To upload into the image gallery

Go to the editor page (Step 3) Scroll down to the image gallery. Select Browse Files, choose the image you want to upload. After you select the image you want to upload it will appear in the preview box. Scroll down select update & preview or save & preview. The image will appear in the image gallery on your page

To upload into the “About” section

Go to the editor page (Step 3) Scroll down to the About section of the business listing. Copy and Paste images into the box either above or below text. TIP: Upload images into image gallery first, then copy from the image gallery and paste into the ABOUT section.

NOTE: Images uploaded into the ABOUT section can be resized by clicking & dragging the edge of the image.

To upload a Business Cover Image (Recommended size 372X240)

A Business Cover image (Featured Image) will show up on the results page within the directory when a customer performs a search.

Go to the editor page (Step 3) Scroll down to Choose Business Cover image located under the image gallery. Click BROWSE,  choose file, update & preview. Search directory for image preview.

How to add a service menu

  1. In ACCOUNT menu, select Dashboard
  2. Select the service menu
  3. Select add new menu
  4. Select a listing to add your menu
  5. Complete service description and pricing
  6. Create menu type & assign to listing
  7. Create menu group & assign to listing
  8. Select add new menu item
  1. In ACCOUNT menu, select Dashboard
  2. In the Dashboard menu, select BOOK NOW tab!
  3. Select ADD NEW BOOKING.
  4. Select the listing you would like to assign this booking.
  5. Fill out the required fields and place your “Booking URL in the field “BUTTON LINK”
  6. Select SAVE and check your listing.

  2. In the Dashboard menu, select DISCOUNTS/DEALS tab.
  3. Select ADD NEW OFFER.
  4. Select the listing you would like to assign this offer.
  5. Fill out the required fields and select save.
  6. IMPORTANT: Once saved, at the top of the page select SIDEBAR AREA in the Display in field.

  2. In the Dashboard menu, select EVENTS tab.
  3. Select ADD NEW EVENT.
  4. Select the listing you would like to assign this EVENT.
  5. Fill out the required fields and select save.

  4. Scroll down to update email
  5. Scroll down to update password

Yes! Our system is set up for listing under multiple categories, simply add a new listing for each category. Please Note: Do not list under categories of which you cannot perform the service or your profile may be flagged for removal by users.

Yes! If your plan comes with our image gallery feature, you can upload as many pics as you want.

No. If you choose not to share information, the field will not show on your page.

After you PUBLISH your business listing, your listing will go live on the site immediately.

Yes. Copy and Paste your booking URL into the “Book Now!” section within your Dashboard! Test it. Another way is to link your booking software in the “description area” by embedding a link in a “Book Here Now” text.

Yes! If customers are familiar with your business name, they can search for it in the main search bar.

A Google optimized listing is a listing that we optimize, submit and list on Google. Unlike regular site listings, Google listing can be discovered and accessed straight from Google, not just our website.

There are THREE different types of advertisements (Ads) that can be offered to business listing owners to promote their listings.

Each of the advertisements offers a different spot and price and it will be presented when creating an Ads Campaign.

1. Random Ads
Be listed on NON-Directory listing pages such as HomeAbout usContact us, etc.

2. Listing Page Ads
Be listed on details page (Listings pages) on the bottom right in a unique design.

3.  Ads in Top of Search
Be listed in top of search results within the site!

It’s easy and simple for the Page owner to update or edit a published Business page. The Page owner can log in to the site and edit/update pages from the user dashboard.

 

After clicking Business Page(s) from the Dashboard menu, select the Edit Button from the drop-down menu, you’ll be redirected to the Edit your page, and there you can fulfill or renew the page created.

Clients

Go to the main search bar and search for the listing you’d like to review. Select the SUBMIT REVIEW tab.

  5. Scroll down to update password

Troubleshooting

  1. If you’ve recently published a Business Listing, your CITY has to be verified by our moderators and only then will it be searchable by city. This process is less than 24 hours. However, for the time being, your Business Listing can be searched by title or business name.
  2. If you’re searching by service please make sure you’ve selected all “Services you can perform within the editor. Tip: For a more advanced search, add specific search words/ Keywords to the about section of your page.

If you receive an error code, or the page is not saving:

  1. The edits or uploads you just made are not compatible with our system. In many cases, you will just need to change the format of the image upload. Change to JPEG or PNG.
  2. Page not saving(processing). You may be logged in under another browser. Please make sure you’re logged in under a single browser, not multiple.
  3.  Additional ERROR codes: The device you’re using to edit may (at times) conflict with the editor. Devices such as IPad or Tablets are not recommended for editing. Your listing page(s) are much like a website and should be edited with a desktop/laptop computer and monitor.
  1. If your images are too big or too small, many times they will not load correctly on mobile devices. Some browsers simply will not show them correctly half of the time. On a desktop, larger images will show up fine with no issues.
  2. The image gallery should have 2 or 5 images uploaded at all times for best results. Not 3 or 4 images. More than 5 images are optional.

If you have trouble logging in, make sure you don’t have another browser open with Beauty Pros NEAR ME. Trying to log in while you are logged in under another browser may conflict with the system due to a cross editing possibility. If you receive a 404 ERROR message on one of your listing pages, please fill out the form below and we will fix the error within a few hours. In most cases, in about 30 minutes. You will receive a confirmation email once the error is fixed.

404 Page Error Correction
  1. Be sure you have assigned the MENU to your published listing by filling out the “Select a Business Listing” field at the very top of the page.
  2. Please be sure to create and assign a Menu Type to all of your listing service menus. Menu groups are optional.
