As a Berwyn native, Philip Tamney, started his career assisting under Artur Kirsh as a dry cutting specialists. While honing his expertise in cutting and color, Philip has spent many show seasons styling for Lanette Lepore, Derek Lam, Badgley Mischka, Ji Oh, and Neiman Marcus’ Creative Director Ken Downing. His love for hair spans generations in his family starting with his Grandmother and Great Aunt who opened a Salon in the early years of the 1930’s right in the heart of South Philly.
