AutoCAD Crack + Activation PC/Windows
AutoCAD history
In 1982, when AutoCAD was introduced, the desktop market was dominated by the spreadsheet-based CATIA, BETA, TRAQ, CIT, and 3M Design Products. At the time of introduction, AutoCAD had a price tag of about $35,000, but was built around a Z-series IBM compatible.
Initially, the majority of users of AutoCAD were engineers, architects, and industrial designers; however, by the early 1990s, the application was used by the general public as a drafting and design tool.
In 2005, the application was redesigned and made more efficient, with increased resolution and better performance. The new version was named AutoCAD 2006, with a new user interface and a price tag of about $5,000. As of 2016, the price tag for AutoCAD is about $2,500.
Features
AutoCAD is one of the most versatile and powerful applications in the drafting industry. The software’s powerful features include:
It is used by professional engineers for aerospace, automotive, architecture, construction, electric, and other similar industries. It is also used by artists, graphic designers, architects, and hobbyists. The software can also be used to enhance the user’s work experience.

The basic set of tools found in most of the other applications is also available in AutoCAD, including the Command Line Reference, Construction Tools, Civil 3D, and Map 3D applications.
Some examples of the features available in AutoCAD are:
The Command Line Reference enables users to perform basic functions, such as “Create Aixle-Ossel,” “Erase An Object,” or “Erase An Entire Object.” The Civil 3D application is used to build 3D models from AutoCAD drawings. The Map 3D application is designed to create 3D models and develop maps.
The following are more examples of features available in AutoCAD:
In addition to the basic set of tools, AutoCAD also includes many other features, such as:
A memory management system.
A compression system.
A multi-view system.
A sub-window system.
An Autodesk Animator system.
A watertight layer system.

AutoCAD performs block dimensions on geometry that are not specified for 3D work, by using the “block dimensions” command. Blocks can be specified by any combination of the following: layer name, block type, block definition, or other valid block names. There are two block types: block and viewblock.
*Although CAD-related geometry can be input into the 2D editor (see the section on block types), it cannot be edited by a 2D tool (but can be read or opened by other, non-CAD-related programs).
Block types
There are two types of blocks: Viewblocks, which are used for 2D views or drawings, and blocks, which are used to control the 3D geometry.
Block types, like blocks, can be dimensioned. Viewblock-defined blocks cannot be dimensioned; however, they can be edited using the block type.
Viewblock
Viewblocks are defined using a set of predefined standard block definitions, listed in Table 1.
Table 1. Viewblock blocks
Although viewblocks are a part of the 3D capabilities in AutoCAD, they are still purely 2D objects in 3D space, which is why the dimensions are on the 2D plane of the drawing.
Block
Blocks are defined using the tool’s interface. For example, the base block type, Rectangle, can be defined in the Block Definition dialog box, either as a block type (see Figure 1), or as the first block type in a drawing (see Figure 2).

Basic dimensions
Basic dimensions can be defined in the properties of any block type, using the dimension command. Dimensioning a block adds the dimension to the block in the sense that it will not be shown, but will be readied by the viewer if they are not already ready. For example, the default dimension of a rectangle, which is defined in the property of the Rectangle block type in the Block Definition dialog box, is 1.0, as shown in Figure 3.

Default dimensions can be specified as follows:
For the 2D view of a block, the current size of the block is considered to be the size of the paper or paper space, and is determined by the paper space’s current scale, which is set by the PaperSpaceScale command (see Figure 4).

2. Autodesk AutoCAD 2010
Autodesk
Autodesk AutoCAD 2010 provides a powerful and intuitive way to design, visualize, and simulate a variety of three-dimensional objects such as houses, bridges, aircraft, and vehicles.
Features
Design for your future. Autodesk AutoCAD 2010 is built around an innovative user experience that gives you the tools to model and visualize the three-dimensional world you’re going to create today, as well as the three-dimensional world you’re going to create tomorrow.
More than 100 functions. Hundreds of commands, drawing tools, and parameters let you accomplish a wide range of tasks — from creating high-quality engineering drawings to designing and manufacturing complex shapes.
Simplify complex processes. With Autodesk AutoCAD 2010, you can create documents using the object-oriented document-processing workflow.
Reduce time. A new Library component lets you manage and share your models, so you can make faster, more accurate drawings.
Create large and complex drawings. With 2.9 billion polygons per second and up to 1.8 million nodes per drawing, Autodesk AutoCAD 2010 enables you to create more complex models faster than ever.
Shared project work space. You can collaborate with multiple users on large-scale drawings. All users have their own, private view of the drawing, allowing them to see and modify their own drawings in real time.
Use technology to streamline your work. Use the familiar and familiar-looking interface to view, move, rotate, copy, resize, and print your drawings.
Export to any format. You can export your drawings as DWG or PDF files, or send them to your computer via e-mail.
Instantly view your model from any device. You can draw, edit, and send drawings directly to a phone, tablet, or desktop without the need to re-enter your drawing at each viewing device.
Autodesk AutoCAD 2010 edition
Autodesk
Autodesk AutoCAD 2010 edition is the free and professional version of Autodesk AutoCAD 2010. AutoCAD 2010 edition does not include the features of the full version of AutoCAD 2010 but is compatible with all the same products and allows users to access the AutoCAD 2010 website and Download Auto
What’s New in the AutoCAD?
Create and manage metadata (the data about the data) with Add-Ons such as Myxm and Myxm2.0. View metadata in Add-Ons or use the default options to assign metadata automatically.
The Import Library:
Use the Import Library from the Tools toolbar to preview files and import them directly into a drawing.
Removal of Crease Guides and Overhang Guides:
Crease guides and Overhang Guides have been removed from the drawing window.
Zooming and Panning:
Zoom and Pan in non-fixed resolution by dragging the Zoom tool or the Zoom Bar.
New Spline/Lines options:
Spline curves can now be automatically closed. You can choose how to handle overlapping splines (split, merge or close). You can also choose to automatically curve lines.
Improved toolbox organization:
The AutoCAD Assembly Utility for Windows has been replaced with The Assembly Utility in version 2023.
The Ribbon in the drawing window can be replaced by the new On-the-Fly Ribbon (see details below).
Edgeguides are added to the Ribbon along with the Plot, Map and Options tabs.
Edges of 3D models and regions now also display on the Map tab.
You can set the output format for the History menu: Export in an HTML file, Export as PDF file or Export as an image file.
You can control the transparency of Dynamic Components in the Output Settings dialog box.
Colors of symbols in the Charts and Pivot Charts dialog boxes can be changed from black to transparency.
The Properties List for all views contains a sub-menu for the List Properties: Font Properties.
The placement of the Properties List sub-menu is located in the Home tab on the ribbon.
Use the New Toolbar with the Clipboard item to access the Clipboard, the Font Editor, Color Picker, the Drawing Settings dialog box, the DesignCenter, and the Offset Table.
The Properties List now includes common Symbols.
The Special Effects button on the Home tab lets you apply effects to drawings or view the dialog boxes for them.
You can add a reference to a drawing on the Drawing Location dialog box.
You can update all your drawings at once when you install the
